Description
What is 2C-T-2?
Effects of 2C-T-2
Die Wirkungen von 2C-T-2 ähneln denen von 2C-T-7, jedoch kann es stärkere körperliche Reaktionen hervorrufen:
Redness on the face
Feeling the heat
Nausea, especially at the beginning of the high
No deaths associated with 2C-T-2 have been reported to date
The psychedelic effects are milder compared to 2C-T-7. The effects start about an hour after ingestion and usually last two hours before reaching a plateau. Hallucinations are similar to those of LSD and psilocybin.
Recommended dosage
Strong psychedelic effect: 30 mg
Threshold: 10 mg
Pharmacology of 2C-T-2
The exact mechanism of 2C-T-2 is not fully known. The hallucinogenic effects probably work by binding to the 5-HT2A serotonin receptor in the brain, similar to many other psychedelic substances. Chemsman
Possible dangers
The toxicity of 2C-T-2 has not yet been sufficiently researched. Although it is weaker than 2C-T-7, similar risks to other phenethylamines could occur at high doses. It can be particularly dangerous in combination with other drugs such as alcohol or MDMA.
Legal situation
2C-T-2 was sold in Dutch smartshops for a while. However, in 1999 the country banned the substance and categorised it as a hard drug. In the USA, 2C-T-2 is not explicitly banned, but could be prosecuted under the Analogue Act. In the UK, it falls under drug law and is illegal.
